Love is not
leaving someone at their lowest. It’s holding on and fighting for someone as much as you possibly can…even if it hurts a little. And despite popular opinion, love isn’t even romance. It’s not about flowers and empty promises..those are just for show—those are just gestures that we’ve been taught by society and they are virtually empty. They are an action that even if we do it subconsciously, we do it for the reward; whether that is a smile or sex, any form of reward.
I think love is waiting for someone who you may never see again, love is doing things for someone who will never know how you were there for them, knowing you’ll never benefit from your actions, but doing them simply out of love.
